Beermat Challenge Terms & Conditions

1. The Beermat Challenge competition is run by University of the West of England, Bristol (UWE).

2. The Beermat Challenge is open to entries from Students, Staff and Alumni of UWE only.

3. Ideas may only be submitted for entry into the Competition via official Beermat Challenge beermats, the Beermat Challenge website and by Direct Messaging the Beermat Challenge twitter account or replying @bmchallenge on Twitter. Entrants must provide their details, including their full name and email address.

4. UWE reserves the right to discard any ideas that are obscene, defamatory or in any way contravene any law and UWE's decision on this shall be final.

5. Prizes will be awarded to entrants who have submitted ideas that attract the most votes during the heats and in the final.

6. UWE reserves the right to change the dates of the heats and the final.

7. Votes may only be submitted on the Beermat Challenge website and are valid only for the heat during which they were cast. Voting patterns will be monitored and if irregularities are found, related ideas will be deemed ineligible.

8. No responsibility will be accepted for technical issues resulting in entries or votes not being received.

9. A list of winners will be displayed on the winners page.

10. The winner will be informed by email within 7 days and prizes will be dispatched within 28 days of the closing date of the heat and/or final.

11. The prize is not transferable and no cash or credit alternative is available.

12. UWE's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

13. Your personal details are required to operate the Competition and to notify you if you win the Competition. By accepting these terms and conditions, you are agreeing that UWE may contact you with offers and news relating to UWE's enterprise activities. They will not provide your details to any third party.

14. By submitting an entry all entrants agree to accept these terms and conditions and agree that UWE may publicise the idea submitted and incorporate it in any publications or publicity relating to UWE's enterprise activities.
